ported box design fi bl 18?

Its for my brother he has a 2002 mitsubishi montero sport. The dimensions that I can use are 21" in high, width 34" and depth is 34". Id like it to be sub back and port back. The sub box I would like it to be 6cu ft and tuned to about 32hz. I can only do for free so it can just be simple. 3/4" mdf

Alright no help i guess nobody can spare me of what dimensions i should build for my box that would be perfect for this sub i guess ill just have to rely on best buys work.

I told best buy that nobody would give me a box design and take like a couple minutes out of their time so they said i can go get a prefab tomorrow.

good luck with that i doubt BB has a ported box tuned to 32 hzs at 6 cubes for an 18

21x34x34 will give you 11.93 cubes

20" high 28" wide 25" deep will give 6.67 cubes before sub and port displacement

be right around 6 cubes after displacement

and to tune it to 32 hz's if you do slot port it will be 20 high 4 inches wide 22.18 long

how wide do you want the port

ok what happens if the length of the port is cut 2 inches to short, so instead of being 22.18 it is 20.18. Should i get another peice and cut it to 22.18 or is 20.18 ok?

I'm not one to make someone feel bad dude, but no body did this because they feel sorry for you. And trust me, no body believed that you were getting a box for an 18 at Best Buy LOL!
