ported box benifits

how much added volume/ rumble does a ported box add over that same sub in a sealed box? i know its louder but i want to ask all you with ported boxes just how much, so i know if it would be worth my while to build a new box.

lol rumble alot just make one its cake and it does sound alot louder and cleaner i tuned mine is 3cuft @ 33Hz...i got 2 type r 12's

yes its usually worth it if your looking for more output. do it

ported box's usually produce more output with the benifit of less power... also gives you the option to tune you're box...

isn't there a thread on here about the diff. between ported and seald???

theres a thread and i understand the differences i was just wondering about the amount of difference in over all output. but you guys cleared it up thank you.
