Port Turbulence???

Lol idk that's how I would describe it. Say you stuck something (shirt/towel) near the port it'd just fly out from the pressure?

It's a basic L-Slot port

Hard to explain.

Picture what an enclosure with one 15" on 2k rms and a single 3" aeroport would sound like....

Uhhh, dowhat now? I thought you said it didnt' have any port noise or "chuffing" as I call it. Port noise for a 15 with a 3" would be horrific.

Why does it surprise you that something would fly from the port moving air? Havent you ever seen people's vids of "paper tricks" and the like?

Sounds almost as if I dont have enough port but that's not the case because it's a basic slot port.

Not exactly chuffing just ALOT of air movement back and forth this is going to sound stupid but "woosh" louder than the bass itself when turned up

Thinking my port isnt even in width all the way through.

lol it should be the same width. If your getting a woosh sound you are getting port compression and turbulence. How big is your slot port?

I have tons and tons of air movement but at the same time almost seems like its very turbulent.
No port noise just turbulent.

Is my port jacked? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
no port noise but it "wooshes" louder than the sub? huh?

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
