If you build a box and have one port tuned to 32hz, if you put another port in also tuned at 32hz would the box still be tuned at 32hz, would it sound better, would it sound the same.....

could somebody help me out with this.. i wanna build a box for 2 12's and have two ports, and i want the box to be tuned at 35-40hz how could i do that, have two ports both tuned at 35-40hz or two ports tuned at a less value so combined will equal 40 hz....!!!

Well if you added another port, you'd have to compensate and balance your port area and port displacement (just to make it easy) among TWO ports now. If you mean "can you build a box with two ports and have it at 32hz" yes, that's possible.

Can you simple cut a hole and stick in some 3" pvc? no...

Well im gonna start building a new box soon, and i want two ports and i want my box tuned at around 35-40hz i dont know whut i want just quite yet.. so i mean lets just say i wanted my box to be tuned at 40hz, what would each port have to be tuned at in order to achieve a box tuned at 40hz...

did you go to that site and read it? it tells you how to figure out how big and how long your ports need to be to get the desired tuning frequency
