Port Placement

Details:

-1 15" FI BL in 3.5 cubic ft. box(3.5. after all disp.)

-Location is the trunk of a car(Buick Regal)

-Subwoofer will be facing the rear of the vehicle

-About 3 inches of space above the box

-About 3 inches of space on each side of the box

-And about a foot of space behind the box.

My question is: If You were going for loudness, where would you place the port? Side fire, Front fire, ect.

I'd go with sub back port back for now. Since you said your seats can fold down, you can also try what bhsdriller said and have the subs and port fire into the cabin, and seal it off from the trunk. This method will give you greater output usually, but you have to take the time to really seal it off.

If I have the box built this way, I will probably not be able to do 45 degree angles inside, as I will lose to much airspace. Am I losing a lot here, or will I be alright without the 45s?
