port placement

is there any advantage/disadvantage to putting the port on the side of the box as apposed to the front of the box where the sub is? like response, phase, timing issues? the sub is a 15" tc9 im using two 4" dual flared ports and its going into 90 lesabre if that helps.

port placement affects how loud the system is going to be...

not the sq... atleast with my vehicle that's what I have seen...

one sub, no, timing = i don't think so. two subs with one side port, i would say so. maybe not timing or whatever, but other shit.
