Port Placement in a 4Runner

Do subs up......port back......You can do port across bottom just build a center support that has a little size to it that will take up some of the port's width....It will serve 2 functions...Support the port wall and it takes up space inside the port so you can get the ratio correct.....You can see a small one in the middle of the box I done for Dtrom below......Just remember to take it's displacement from enclosure CF........

I have a 2004 4runner as well with 2 15's and the sub up position seems to work much better in clarity and in the reduction of rattles. As for the port position I would place it long-wise along the top with the subs, but that is just my oppinion because that hatch vibrates like crazy. Let me know how this build goes because I am planning on building a new box in the near future.
