Port noise?

Not saying this is your problem but I thought I had the same problem turned out to be a vent in the rear right corner flapping.Didn't notice the sound until I was in the trunk while it was playing.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
