so I made my spare tire box for my re12 and it came out to be about 2.25^3 and for the port the dimensions are 6"X2" tuned to 32hz. Does it sound like I would get any port noise out of that.

yes thats to small....u need atleast 24square inches of port........make it 8 x 3 and route the port edges..

chuffing, fast air moving. Like blow through a straw really hard and you'll hear it. But if you blow through a 3" dia pvc pipe you prolly won't hear it.
