Port noise and a....

I was just wondering if I use just PVC piping for my port would I able to hear port noise inside the car? 98 Caddy Deville? Thanks for any input

Edit the subs are 4 12" L5s and will be using 8 4" ports

Should be okay with 2 4" per sub. That's about 30 square inches. Make sure you build the box to spec though, it will require a large box for all of those.

I've never been able to hear port noise in a trunk car, when you open the trunk it's like a windstorm, but when it's closed and you're in the car you'll be fine.

I used a 10 cube box with 4 4" pvc ports coming out of the botton and it worked fine.
