Port material and stuff

I need to know if i can use something like pvc for ports or else i need to find a place that sells 12.5in ports. I cant find them anywhere other than flexports. Way to expensive!

Also can i have the ports extending out of the box without problems?

One last thing is do i have to worry about cancellation if my woofers are pointed to the back and my ports come up through the flat part behind my rear seats?

You can use PVC for your ports but besure to round the edges of the PVC that is inside you box to help eliminate port noise.As for extending the ports outside the box, the part that is inside the box is tuned to pick up a certain freq. so as long as you have the correct tuned port inside the box you can extend it outside the box without effecting to much sound. As for cancellation, you will have to experiment with it.

Another idea would be to use a vent style port.
