port length

ok I want more spl out of my system so I need to know how long my port needs to be. My box is 4.6 cu.ft. before displacement, its for 2 Memphis PR 12's and the port is 4 inches in diameter. What length should it be and what would it be tuned to. Its gonna be powered by a Profile CA800, so 600w x 1 RMS. go to http://www.linearteam.org and download WinISD Pro. then put in the specs and everything for your box and it will help you tune your port and tell you the appropriate lenghts and stuff.

ya its a round port, I already got it in and the box built, I finally got an amp hooked up to hear 'em and it hit hard, but I was wonderin if I cut the port down if it would sound louder. Right now its 4x11. Thanx

go to their website http://www.memphiscaraudio.com and they have a few different boxes for each sub. they tell you the port length and what its tuned to. they have boxes around 30 for every day and around 55 for spl, i guess you would want the everyday box.
