port for my new box ? 7 cubes / re sx 18 off saz1500

box is basicly to be a trunk wall with the back of the back seat taken off completely.

but some one could still sit back there - just not lean up on the sub.

anyhow - 7 cubes - saz1500 for power

older style re sx 18 d2 sub

wanting the tuning to be @34 hz or maby 33 if I screw up the math

port can be a pair of circle / pvc with custom aeros of fiberglass

or can be a pair of slot ports on either side

any recomendations on how long the port will need to be by a given height and width ?

and or - a pair of aeros - the size of the inside circle - and how long to achieve 34/33 hz tuning with flair ports on the ends ?

2 8" aeros is more than enough. You can get 2 6" aeros and make them 15.5 inches long with flares included to get 34 hz.

A pair of full length 6" aeros(17" long) will get you a hair under 33hz if you make the box 7ft^3 after all displacements. With the power you have I'd go with a slightly smaller box, because you won't need 1500 watts to reach mechanical limits with a SX in a 7ft^3 box.
