port direction???

i know this is all vehicle specific but whats typically the loudest in a car as far as port direction? im wondering because im building a new box for my car and dont feel like doing test builds

i have understood port facing back in the trunk gets the job done...

also try with the port forward...(just turn the box around...)

well i removed the back of my seat and did ports firing into the car and had a great turnout

a friend of mine had an older style prism with the sub forward and port down into the spare tire well and the rest of the trunk and well sealed off. it was loud and sounded good for what it was, just a bazooka amp and orion p12

subs back and port back, or subs up port back. I think subs up port back isnt as loud, thats what i got right now, working on a back back box.
