Do anyone know of a reliable port length calculator?

I need the port length for a 1.5^3 enclosure with 28"^2 area.

I used the calculator at http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31.

However, I noticed a horizontal vs vertical slot port using the same parameters, generated different lengths. For example:

Horizontal Option: 1.5^3@ 35hz = 3"H x 10W x 34.5 Long

Vertical Option: 1.5^3@ 35hz = 10"H x 3W x 38.0 Long
