Port Area for 2 15's

Which would be better for an SQL setup either:

4x18.5=74in^2

or

5x18.5=92.5in^2

Probably going to be running 2 RE SE 15's or Kicker L5's or Type R's(undecided ATM). Box will be 7.5-8ft^3 tuned to mid 30's. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

A RoT I've heard is 16in^2 per 1ft^3....so for 7.5ft^3->120in^2...

But I would imagine that 92.5in^2 would be plenty for 2 15" woofers.

mmmkay, ill have do do a bit of research... Does anyone know the Sd for SE's for Type R's?

That's in cm^2. He was talking about 1/3 of SD in square inches.

Divide 810 by 2.54^3 and take 1/3 of that value.

Are Sd measurements in cm or cm^2...
