difference in box tuning

looking for what difference I would have between a 2 cu ft tuned to 28 hz,compared to 2 cu ft tune to 30 hz,with the same sub,I would rather not lose the low end,but dont want it one-notish.sub is a rl-p 12

Depends on the sub. It could very well be that it won't sound right with either of them. It could sound better with the higher tuning. With a ported enclosure, matching the sub to the box and tuning determines everything.

Soundsplinter suggests 28-32 hz tuning,I currently have a box tuned to 28hz,love the lows,dont want to lose them,but it lacks in the semi higher bass notes
