Port and firing question

Please don't take offense, but have you never built a box in the trunk, or do you just build outside then try to put it in the trunk?

Thanks, I was planning on assembling inside the trunk
even building inside the trunk thoseumnbers seem offf..i didnt think it ws 41" wide or 21 tall for a constant 20" depth like ur wanting

So I'm going to run 2 threat con 2 15's off a sound stream 2000, which is the best way to fire the subs and port firing which direction. 2008 ford focus sedan is the vehicle (trunk) Thanks for the help
my wifes is sub forward & port forward and she does pretty good for what it is and the fact she has stock electrical and 8ga wire lol. her setups in my sig and videos on the "bgowdy31" youtube channel if you want to check them out

It is, the side against the seat will be angled like the seat, I can get all pieces through the back seat

that never works out in my experience unless you are fiber glassing part. I have done subs rear with port extended through rear deck that would also free up a lil internal air space I personally think it will sound like crap since theres no air for the subs to push

Ok so I just put the exterior dimensions in a box calculator and says I have 10.85 cubic feet, that's taking in the factor of the 3/4 box materials, but not the port, bracing and sub, and the TC2 15 says 3.5max per 15, so that is a total of 7 cube for both, leaves me 3.8 for port and sub displacement, please correct or let me know if I am doing something wrong here, thanksBtw thanks for the comments from everybody already.

This is what I got.?

Width 41"

Height1-32"

height2-21"

Depth-20.5"

Thickness-.75

Inter vol= 10.85793 cu ft
well torres tuner gives 8.47 cu.ft not including displacements or port vol. What size port?

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
