POR 15 Help... if u have used it get in here.

I just have some questions about the prep of POR 15. I have the metal ready and marine clean but i want to know what you did and how it worked. Also did u roll it or spray it and did you use a top coat?

works great. Just follow the directions. Etch it with the metal ready and paint it on. I brushed it. Only use the marine clean if it's greasy/dirty. Paint right on the rust. Only bad thing is it fades in the sun. If you're painting it on underneath where it doesn't get sunlight you'll be fine. I never used any topcoat. If I remember that will prevent fading.

I used it to paint the frame on my fullsize GMC a few years back. I just power washed it and painted it on with a brush.

Good stuffs. Make sure to not get it on your skin.

good stuff. use the etcher then paint it on. i used a brush it worked nicely. dont get it on your skin.
