popping sound

so the past couple days i get this random popping sound from my sub. i have had my sub/amp setup for over a couple years and never had this problem before. i disconnected the sub and the popping sound doesn't happen at all. can you help me with the problem?

It could be a number of things dude theres hundreds of posts of noises coming from subs. Look at em see if any relate to yours.. also it would help if we knew what sub it was.
