popping sound

just installed..

eclipse cd 3000

two kicker l5 12 inch subs

1200.1 amps

200.2 amp

polk momos

when i take a cd out of the player.. i get a slight popping sound that gets intense for a few seconds in the speakers and a little bit on the subs.

running 2 guage wire..

Bad ground on amp? what could the problem be

Bad ground on radio?

amp is grounded to body. angle grinded the spare tire area for my gound. so its complelty bare metal but is it enough to travel for a good connection.

When I had that, it was a bad ground on the amp.

 

[ToyTundra 10+ year member]

mine was a bad ground at the Hu. Only the factory HU did it which grounds through the harness so my problem is slightly different
