An aluminum bar can offer the exact same resistance, or better... you just have to use more material. I agree tho, Im anal about such things, Id use copper too.

Yup when you are dealing with a large cross section of material Al will work just as well as copper. The difference is neglidgeable an won't matter even in the SPL lanes.
