polyfill+small port

You guys were right, 1 3" pvc for my RE sr wasnt enough, I am getting noise.

My question is, can I stuff the box with polyfill to cut port velocity, so the port can be functional.

I dont think so... get some sand paper and round the edges as smooth as you can if you haven't already... Best bet is use an aero 3" or get something bigger.

I would think that would yield more port velocity since polyfill is supposed to make the enclosure bigger than it really is.

True in a sealed enclosure it would probably act to make it bigger, but ported I think it would help cut airflow if the polyfill was close to the port.
