So I've basically searched through every 12" subwoofer thread here and have narrowed down the list to what would suit my budget and setup. I have 420W available at 2ohms (or 210 at 4ohms), and I have a 3/4" mdf, well-constructed 1.2cu ft sealed enclosure that I would like to reuse (if possible). My budget is around $150, but I'd pay up to $200 max if it was really something above and beyond the rest. I know these would probably sound better in a tuned, ported box, but obviously that will take time and money.

Here's what I've got, in order of interest:

Sub, Coil Config, Optimal sealed enclosure size, Price

SSA DCON D4, dual 4, 0.9-1.2 cu ft, $125

Sundown SA-12, dual 4, 1 cu ft, $195

FI X12, single 2, 0.6-1.1 cu ft, $119

FI SSD (released in approx 4 weeks)

Incriminator Audio 187, dual 4, unknown, $149

Image Dynamics ID12D4v3, dual 4, 0.8-1.25 cu ft, unknown

Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection, dual 4, unknown, used for $200

Here is what I eliminated and why:

DC Level 2 (wants 0.75 cu ft)

Mach 5 IXL-12 BR (wants 1.5-1.8 cu ft)

Dayton Reference HF (single 4ohm coil)

TCSounds TC-Epic (dual 2ohm coils)

so just an update, i found a local seller giving me a good deal on a used IDQv3 (!) in a well-made 1 cu ft. sealed box. im pretty sure im gonna go for it, unless someone here has a reason not to (picking it up friday). if not though, it would have been a tough choice between the used w6v2, idv3, and idqv2 (all around $160-180)
