I barely use my landline phone in the apartment...maybe two or three times a month. I don't take it off the hook; if it's a utility that's calling I might as well answer it, if it's a telemarketer...well, after calling me the first time they don't usually call back.

I turn the ringers off on my home phone and everyone just knows to call the cell phone.

Back when i had a landline i also had some feature that let me restrict calls by time (from like 9pm-7am or something) or anytime i felt like it. If you knew the code you could get threw otherwise just went straight into voice mail. I used it all the time. Now i just turn off my cell.

nope, just use a cell phone, silenced at times, but very rarely. mostly when im in meetings

yes i always take my house phone off. all my fam is in cleve, and i'm just in cincy for school. so everyone i know in cincy call my cell. so the house phone comes off bcuz of dammed telemarketers, student loans, and bill collectors.

I do not unhook my phone. However, I did... disable... the ringer, so even if I get a phone call it won't ring.
