You're confusing Eric Crouch with Tim Couch, the latter couldn't run a 40 under 7 to save his life.
Thank you, I was thinking really hard for a name and that was the first one to come to my mind and it rhymed with Crouch. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Miami is way better then Bama though;)
That's what they thought in 92 too.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Bama may be struggling on offense but you have to score on them to win. That hasn't been going well for their opponents lately.

V Tech's def was supposed to shut down Miami, but what happened? Tech has more speed then Bama but couldn't keep up. Bama is a good team, but not good enough to beat UM if they played this year.

I'll say talking about Miami (a team with a loss) is a waste of time and anyone can say things like "we would beat them" or "our team has more speed" but thats all irrelevant because Miami is NOT going to win a championship and neither VA Tech. Miami lost to FSU and VA Tech lost to Miami. When you have teams like USC, Texas and Bama out there who haven't lost a single game you have no chance to get into the championship game. Unless you're Oklahoma of course who got to play in the champ. game that year even though they didn't even win they're own conference. Meanwhile USC had to play Michigan in the Rose Bowl. Not that Michigan wasn't a good team but USC deserved to be in that Championship game. Still too many politics involved with college football for my liking.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

How do you know?? Seriously, you have no way of knowing that. Comparing speed and what not means nothing unless they hit the field and duke it out. Bama is undefeated because they took the schedule put before them and so far have only done what has been asked of them......win all of them and they have. Its easy to sit back and say "what if" all day but that gets the canes no where. They had their chance and lost it in the first game of the year, no sense hatin on the Crimson Tide just because your team blew it.

Slow down Adam. First off, I do like the Crimson Tide.

I didn't say speed was everything. But it is a huge factor when combined with talent. I already acknoledged that UM f'ed up by losing to the semi-holes, that's a fact. I do believe that UM can beat Bama IF they played. Being undefeated doesn't mean that you are the best or better team, it just means you have a better record. Thats why the college system sucks, they need playoffs. I THINK/BELIEVE/KNOW IN MY HEART that UM is the best team, pound for pound, in the country. Yes, I am bias, because I am a fan and I love my team. I don't think they will or should win the championship if the other 3 teams don't lose too.

If things keep going the way they are, UM might actually play Bama in a bowl game if #3 plays #4.

Its cool man........I was just getting sick of hearing Miami this and Miami that when they're aren't even a factor in this years championship. To be honest I hate FSU more than any team in the country. I don't really like any Florida team for that matter but the semi-holes are the worst because Bowden has no principles and no scruples........its just winning that counts to him. Case in point......Peter Warrick. When him and another receiver were busted in that shoe scandal they booted the other receiver from the team and only gave Warrick a 1 game suspension because they knew in 2 weeks they had to play UF. That kind of behavior only sends a bad message that they discipline the players when they fuck up but NOT at the cost of losing a game.

Yes. I hate people that always say "I can't watch the NFL, just a bunch of overpaid losers, the NCAA is pure football and nothing else" blah blah blah. Colleges need resources to recruit players to come to the school, and one of the biggest selling points is having a winning team. It makes it way too difficult for small market schools or schools with a bad track record to get blue chip players, they're all going to the big-names. Then you have the preseason rankings which unfairly influence the season, partly based on years past, which is ridiculous considering the high turnover rate of the players. Then schools are forced to play X amount of games within their conference, so strength of schedule becomes far too big an issue. And if that's enough, the BCS is just an utter joke. The entire layout of college athletics is *** backwards.

thats what the sec says but they only can blame themselves the money the college makes via the sports is by football (unless you are duke lol). college is a business just like anything else. if you schedule really weak team in out of conference games you should also know what the costs of doing so are which they do when the schools cry over the polls its like crying over spilled milk
