the people in charge know what they are doing. for a program to look good in the eyes of athletes they try to keep the win total of at least 7-8 wins even in a bad year and when they do better than expected (go undefeated) they cry about the polls. if they really wanted to go for a national title they should schedule fresno states, notre dame type schools over 3 directional louisana schools

UM is still a factor because they are in 4th place. UM lost to a lessor opponent, and I can pray that USC, Texas and Bama do the same. THEN we will definitely be a factor as you like to call it.

Unfortunately for Bama they still have ranked opponents to play while UCS and Texas have a cakewalk to finish out the year. I hope my boys pull it together. They will have to if they are to have any chance of winning out.

Not me. Today I was a Michigan fan against Indiana (Michigan won 41 -14). Then I was routing for Iowa to beat Wisconsin (Iowa won 20 -10). Now next week I route for Michigan State to beat Penn State and after Michigan whoops Ohio State the Wolverines will have the Big Ten Championship.
