Note: USC vs UCLA was left out on purpose because obviously one of those teams will lose when they play each other later this season, thus they will not be able to play each other in the Championship

Miami, can beat any of those teams and WILL beat V. Tech next week. But if things go as they are, Texas should beat USC in the Championship.

IMO. 1 should play 4 and 2 should play 3 in the bowl games and the winners should play each other in an actual championship match.

I think you guys need to take a look at V Techs schedule.

It is quite obvious you guys are only hearing the hype and not watching it.

The only real team worth considering is Miami. If they beat them then only then should they even be considered top 3 worthy.

UCLA has squeaked by 3 teams that werent even top 25 and on top of that, hasn't beat any other top25 team other then Cali, which was also a squeak by.

It should really only be USC and Texas considered in the National Championship game. Sure USC has had two somewhat close games, they haven't lost in 2.5 years and really have no reason that they shouldn't be #1. Plus, they have 3 could-be heisman candidates with possibly one of the top 2 receiver in the nation.

Also, Vince Young often starts off slow as we've seen in the last two games, then explodes into a superstar, but against a great team like USC which will make them pay for any mistakes , it may not be possible to comeback.

Either, I'm a UTer and I say go longhorns!!!

Bama could play with any of the top three teams. They probably have the most difficult schedule of any of the top 4. If they win out and win the SEC Championship that should qualify them to play for the National Title. There Defence is stronger than any that the top 3 have faced. and their Offence will find a way to put points on the board.

UT and USC don't play Top 25 teams for the rest of the season, IIRC...VT plays two in the regular season, and most likely FSU for the ACC championship.

Man, I wish I could go to that Tech/Miami game...darn lottery. I've signed up for every game...only won the BC game in the second round...garbage.
