they barely beat Ohio State.

This is very true, aside from the first five or so minutes of the game when Texas came out like gangbusters, OSU completely dominated them. It's a shame Tressel kept flip-flopping Smith and Zwick, that completely took away any rhythm the offense had.

It's a bigger shame that the BCS will more than likely screw over another deserving school. You can go back and forth between the top 3 teams to pick the best. USC has a ridiculous offense, but their defense can be suspect. Texas has a great defense and QB, but a freshman at RB and a weak WR corps. V Tech has probably the best defense, but their offense isn't that spectacular. Poor Frankie is gonna come up short once again.

If Va Tech and FSU play in the acc championship, I look for Tech's defense to eat up FSU's QB, I'd be willing to bet that FSU doesn't even score 14 pts, and they probably will go to there backup QB.

I love how Texas fans love to point out how easy VT's schedule is, meanwhile they crushed #13 GT, crushed #13 BC, WILL crush #5 miami this week (and anyone who says otherwise has obviously never been to lane stadium), will beat UVA, and will beat #10 FSU, who could be ranked higher by season's end. meanwhile, texas has beaten ohio state, who has lost twice now, a HIGHLY overrated texas tech team, a HIGHLY overrated colorado team, and a bunch of scrub teams, along with most likely the HIGHLY overrated colorado team again in the big 12 championship. who's schedule is tougher again?

Lane Stadium is a sick place. I've been to big games for ND, TN, Mich State, Mich, and Purdue...none came close in loudness to Lane. It really surprised me when the 60-70,000 fans at Lane could be much louder than the 110,000 or so fans at Neyland.

Yeah, we remember, a bad bad game, we beat ourselves, kind of like we did this year with FSU, but that doesn't mean that FSU or VT are or were better then Miami. Miami will pwn VT to get back at FSU. Like I said earlier, we are not gonna win the championship this year, but Miami CAN beat every team ranked above them. Not destroy, but beat. VT will have a better chance of beating Miami compared to USC or Texas. But we will never know.

The Media would love USC to win, because they would be able to talk about a 3peat hatrick, blah blah blah. If they get it, great, because they beat who they were supposed to beat, but it doesn' t mean that they are the best team. I think that if they played ND again, ND would win.

***Note***UM was the best team in the nation the year before they won the championship a few years back, then they won the championship, and then they lost to Ohio State in the championship game the following year, great game, but lost because of a bad call by a referee. That bad call was obvious, but nothing was said because it went against UM. If that call was made against Ohio St and Ohio St lost because of it, there would have been loads of contreversy(
