before you say RE for sure consider one thing.............
Polks xmax is 25mm and re is 24mm.
polks efficiency is 91db Re is 86db
both are extremely beefy looking in person not that that means anything but the polks spider is much wider.
Now I have the polk but really like the looks of this re. Besides a larger voice coil and more power handling which my amp is capable of is there anything to suggest it will be better in anyway? I know most people hate polk trust me I was personally shocked at how loud, clean,deep, and how much air this polk moves combines with its efficiency just very impressive.
