My friend keeps asking me why his cousins SR124 svc subs sound so good on the mids but so crappy on the lows?
He has them in a sealed box, 1.3 cuft per chamber and they really do sound good on mids and when i say mids i dont mean 120hz + i mean mid range for a SUB.. like 60 70 80hz Its the tight bass that vibrates in your chest, not the low bass that shakes things...
My friend is convinced that its the Polk sub and that they are for some reason great at that type of bass, i told him it was most likely the box and the type of car. Mazda 6..
What do you guys think? My friend is so convinced that these polk subs are so good at this frequency that he wants to buy a 10" just to mount behind his seat SPECIFICALLY for 60,70,80hz bass..
i said he was crazy.
