Polk PA 500.4. Vs. pioneer GM D8604 vs MB quart AO600? 4x100 under $150

I'm learning....

I need a 4 x 100 amp to replace my Sound Ordnance 4x50. I'd prefer not to stick with SO.

Any thoughts or advice on my choices? The Polk is older an used although in great shape. Pioneer seems to have been around forever although I don't know where their GM series lays? And I am not familiar with the Onyx line from quart.

Looking for the best option for $150 to my door.

Polk. The pioneer GM amps are not that good and the new MB is fair at best.

Had not heard of Precision Power.....will check them out, although I don't need 145X4......just 100X4 to get some headroom and also to allow me to put more to the front without sacrificing the rears. Trying to force my front soundstage in my jeep via pumping the fronts.

I need about a 65 front - 35 rear split to get the stage in front. Doing this with 50X 4 just leaves it all short.

I would definitely go for the Polk. Only had good experience with their products and always heard positive reviews from my friends and family. I would even say that their products are almost equal or better than all the Pioneer products (except Pioneer's Stereo and Multimedia line-up).

Why not give a try at Hertz? They have good amps at around 150 USD.

It's not an adjustable frequency. Most decent aftermarket head units have an adjustable HPF setting, so you could set the crossover to full range on the amplifier.

We can also get the Pioneer amp you listed. I have not tested that amplifier but it should be solid.
