yep... if you install them properly. that means seals, baffles, etc. no drop-in replacement will sound great.

not saying there aren't better speakers for the price of the MM, but the upgrade is worth it.

So what would you recommend at the same price? I was looking at rockford fosgate t1/t2 and also the orion hcca componets what do you think?

 
I've got MMs all around and I love em. Couldn't be happier. Of course I bought them for $200 new for the fronts then $200 for the rear 6x9s new. Thw y are incredible sounding speakers.
