I am running a set of the Momo 6.5" components in the doors of my silverado right now. Actually had the polk's new in the box laying around for the past couple of years. I have about 20 to 30 hours play time on them right now. Here is my opinion.
I am running everything flat at the moment for break in purposes the mid's are just starting to break in and hit a little lower with more defined midbass.
The tweeter is very smooth which is welcome for me as i listen to lots of metal. i have had other tweeters that just about make your ears bleed.
Mids. Sound good in the low end but really like a bit of eq to get them going. The tonal transition is just a bit lacking right now between the tweeter and the mid but remember i am running them flat at the moment, i am sure some eq'ing will change that.
For breaking in purposes i am sending 60 w rms to each side. Honestly they really start to sound good and clean about the time the amp craps out. I plan to send them 100w rms very soon but they would probably sound best with a good clean 150w rms.
Overall i am satisfied for now but i am looking into a tweeter and 4" mid combo in the kicks with a dedicated 6.5" midbass in the doors. Possibly a tweeter/5 1/4"/ 8" midbass if i can get the 8" to fit in the door somehow.
I think i paid like $180.00 for them a couple of years back and they sound better than the focal access stuff i had previously. Focal tweeters blow way to easy. And i like them much better than the MB quart stuff i had years ago.
if i were looking at a budget again of under $200 i would buy them again or the diamond hex's.
