Polk Audio?

I have own the Polk Ex IIs and the EX3s which were both predecessors to the db series you looking at. They are good speakers with a nice neutral sound, just stay with their RMS if you amp them otherwise the tweeter tends to blow. Other than that in their price range they are great.

db's are ok. good speakers, but it no way, shape or form will they amaze you. I had some Momo components which i thought were much better. I'd agree with brock in saying their smooth.

Running db650's in the GF's car and they're ok, but nothing to brag about. Decent highs, but mids are lacking big time.

And you MUST amp them or they're even worse. Go to CC and demo them and see if you like them.

If you have GTO's then I'd amp them and you'll be happy...

I got some polks a while back, and I thought they sounded pretty good, especially for the price. depending on what you're trading for them, could be quite a deal.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
