i just bought an audiobahn a8000t (400wattsx1 @4ohms and 800wattsx1 @2ohms). but is this amp really any good i paid 200 shipped do u think it will be worth it. im goin to power a orion p12d4 with it. ty for any oppinions u have on audiobahn amps (BAD OR GOOD)

I'm having a look at your signature there, fella.....you're going to run an RF P2 in favor of an RE XXX?

I seriously do not understand the logic there but okay....

I have no experience with Audiobahn having never owned any of their gear and I continually see rather negative things being bandied about in reference to them.

On the flipside I remember seeing a thread about Audiobahn from someone who use to run nothing but A-bahn and within that thread it was mentioned that that user (whoever it was) ran several of those A8000Ts without ever having any issues.

Now that you own it how about once you're a bit used to it post up a review so we can get a real opinion from someone who actually owns it rather than the masses who get on the "Audiobahn Sucks!" bandwagon?

I personally own one and have never had any problems with it. Seems to put out alot of clean power and is very reliable...never had any overheating issues. I can say that for 200 shipped you probably could have gotten something better, but it is still a quality amp.

Mistake man, i ve hard there overated, and they blow alot, But there better than a few brand out o nthe market.

I had the a80002T and one day it just blew sparks and that was the end of that amp. lasted me just over 6 months. Needless to say my Cheap Jensen amp has lasted 3 years.

I had that amp for a little while and it worked pretty well. Only reason I got rid of it was for something a little more efficient. It's a decent amp, good for a starter too. You could've gotten it a few dollars cheaper (about 140 shipped probably on ebay)...

Only thing with this amp is make sure you mount it FLAT, not on its side or it WILL shut off.

^was my first system. its ok for a starter system, but you could've gotten a better amp for $200 shipped. if this is your first system, you will like it because its your first beat. but you'll want to upgrade like me within weeks or so.

after this system, i never looked back into audiobahn in general. so my vote is they will never be considered to me again.

i had a audiobahn hct 2400 i think was the model number

rated at 2400 watts 4 ch all that bs... amp sucked horribly luckily i sold it before it blew.....

but hey like they said its a good starter amp
