is it fine to use a 120A Mini ANL fuse for my setup consisting of a diamond d3 400.4 amp, crystal sscs 6 comp, and pioneer 680 headunit? i read somewhere that using too big of a fuse will set the car on fire or something.

i know my amp fuse rating is 40A but im not sure what other equipment have a fuse that need to be accounted for.

I wouldn't use a fuse that big. If the wire shorts, it's going to weld itself to the car before the fuse blows. I'd say it's okay for temporary use if the wire is in good condition, but order something smaller.

First of all, you fuse to the wire to prevent it from burning. What gauge wire are you using for that diamond amp. I'd only use that 150 if it were 4awg. Any smaller and I'd get a smaller fuse...

i bought the 4 gauge amp kit from knukonceptz and it came with a 120A mini anl fuse. so it is fine to use this fuse with my setup rite? my car wont catch on fire or nothing?

You fuse for the wire gauge that you are running, forget about the wattage that you're running. The fuse is perfect for 4-gauge. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
