Plugs for compression/screw terminals?

I've always just trimmed the wire down and used the compression screws on the wire directly, but I am wondering if there's more secure or proper ways.

My brother has an older Alpine-MRV-1507 that has plugs that get screwed into the set screw area of his, but I've never seen anything like that.

Sorry if this isn't clear. Basically, power and speaker inputs that aren't flat screws where spades would normally go, is there a better way?

His amp doesn't use set screws, it just has a flat piece that is tightened down onto the wire via a screw. With that amp you can easily put a fork onto the terminal and screw it down. Are you asking if there is a connector that you could use on a set screw style terminal, instead of putting bare wire?

Yes, thank you. Long, boring day at work and my brain is fried from how busy the week has been.

Ah.. well i second you on that question. I've always been looking for some kind of connector I could throw the wire in and then put into the set screw terminal.. however I get the feeling that the voltage wouldn't flow as well as bare wire in there..
