Where can you buy this lexan stuff? home depot canadian tire???? Still how much??? to ocver it im the 24 by 36 size

Your local glass store might have it in stock, but they could always order it for you. I see it pop up on ebay every once in a while for pretty cheap...don't know how reliable it would be though. Lexan in a 3/4" thickness is gonna be pretty expensive...

i looked into it the lexan for the size 24 by 36 would cost me 250 dollars!!!!! thats at only half an inch!!!

Here is a source to compare relative prices, you may find it for less somewhere else but this is a start:

I can't link directly so: go to bottom of the right hand column on the home page, choose plastics under the Raw Material list, on the next page choose sheets, next page choose Acrylic, on next page choose Cast Acrylic and go from there.

Examples: 1" 24x36 sheet of Cast Acrylic $118.00

1" 24x48 sheet of bullet-resistant polycarbonate $495.00

i was thinking i could just put plexi glass infornt of the subs a put wood around them so you little windows seeing inside like half a foot by half a foot squares

i was thinking about doing that one too...as a coffee table for the living room, but what could you use instead of plexi- or anything like that cause i don't want it scratched up...

1/2 inch tempered glass. way cheaper that plexi or lexan

well i just finished constructing a box with a plexi window. although i have to finish sanding and painting it. anyways i ordered some 3/8" smoked plexi from ebay i got 3 sheets of 40x48 for $15 plus $32 to ship i cut my hole for the window. then placed the bigest peice of plexi i could fit inside the hole and screwed it in. pre drilled holes a bit larger then the screws though to stop it from cracking. then i put a 2nd peice of plexi one that would fit in the hole on top of the 1st peice. then i used some caulking around the edges and then fiberglassed it around the perimeter. the box is 5.5^3ft and running 2 orion h2 12s with 1800RMS and the plexi has not moved cracked or anything.
