Plexi or Acrylic

lexan is the way to go. what are you using this for?
Yep. Plexiglass is too prone to shattering, in my experience, while lexan tends to hold up much better. However, I haven't used the obscenely thick versions of plexi, so your mileage with that variety might vary.

I use UL-listed 752 Bullet Resistant Acrylic. Works great in 3/4 or 1" thickness. If you brace strong enough, and seal that acrylic flush or inset on the INTERIOR of the enclosure, you wont barely sense that anything is flexing. like a rock, with i dunno... dual 2000 watters inside? Whatever you want. It'd be a tank.
