I started this whole stupid thing by pointing out the obvious, and I openly admit that. I should've just kept my mouth shut.

But this guy did a very stupid thing and refuses to take it back. From my point of view, the entire hobby should be based around doing the best you can with the money you have. This guy totally trashed some pretty decent equipment, because of user error, and he refuses to go back and alter the post to make things right. That post could've caused dozens of people to miss out on some pretty nice entry level equipment at this point.

And maybe you should go back and read some of this guy's posts, audioholic. I think you'll see that he's the one throwing out price quotes left and right and hyping up everything he has. I only linked to my comps after he proclaimed them to be inferior to his $200 Polk Momo's.

I personally don't think anything I currently have is worth a d*mn. That's why none of it is in my vehicle. But this is a problem that I won't have to live with for long.

Just work with what you got. A lot of how it sounds is going to be install dependant anyhow. I'm constantly buying, and upgrading. A little bit of every paycheck goes to my gear.

Not even close........the cheapest set EVEN for EBAY is $175.00.....not the same for your $100.00 for a Pair Subs. or your $60.00 Craptastic Comps. Price does not mean Quality, sure i know that but your the one talking shit.

Ive read all your posts, both of you. But this is his thread, he isn't going to leave it. Just let it go man. Consider it you being the bigger man if you want. Im just pointing out that at this point, you are both only making yourselves look worse, not the other way around.

Audioholic thanks a lot for the help man I am greatful for it. I did not make a mistake in the wiring but I understand that, this does not make you believe that I didn't do any wiring wrong. OK let me set everything back up and test it with a DMM and let you know. Thanks man.

If you were to go look at the post I made on the RE Audio subs you would have seen It was edited to say one was blown like yesterday. Their is a very large pawn shop around here, I am talking massive, they hold stereo comps and it is full of stereo gear. I seen the RE's their and knew they were a great sub from listening to people on here so I bought them. I took for granted that they were good and hooked them up into a box to listen. Yea I jumped the gun on the sound, you live and learn but i don't have to take shit back for your sake or say I am sorry to a little kid like you misfit.

PS. I am not sure what is wrong with that RE either one is great and the other one plays but sounds like a fart.

Exactly. I would have no problem running the equipment that's lying around in my workshop and spare room, but it really isn't good enough to warrant losing my rear seats. If I had a vehicle with a trunk, I could throw a little something decent together, but unfortunately I don't have a vehicle of that nature.

The equipment I have will eventually be used. Anything I have is there for the taking if you're my friend and are in need of it. The Kickers, RF comps and cheap Profile amps that aren't being used will be no different. I'll probably put the RF comps in my friend's Lincoln when he gets home on the 24th...
