PLEASE tell me I did this right =-(...

Okay I went and baught an enclosure from q-logic and it came with pre-wired 16 Gauge speaker wire....

The gauge wasn't enough for the subs I'm pushing so I ripped it out along with the terminals...went and baught NEW terminals and soldered the metal wire to the new terminals I baught and than wrapped them in electical tape on the ends...

sound good? I've never had any subs and enclosures so I did the most logical thing and thats what I cam up with...??

please tell me I didnt **** anything up by doing that
