please recommend components

looking for the best bang for buck components. my camaro will need two sets. 6.5's in the front and the back.

I don't really know whats out there other than mainstream. I currently have Alpine type S coaxials and they honestly don't sound that bad to me.

I have a RF P450.4 for them but will be upgrading to either an RF t400.4 or RF t800.4.

what are most people running?

I have the Total Mobile Audio 6.5 comps. Total is owned by JL Audio but I preferred the tonality of the Totals over the JL's. I think you can find them on ebay pretty reasonable. My second choice would be the Pioneer TS-D1720C's. They're on Newegg.com for just over a bill.

you can get them less than $100 and people run over 200wrms per channel

I prefer the RSd tweeter over the Type R tweeter set but there is where it ends.

Not sure what you are looking for, but I do have an extra fulll components set laying around retail was over 400........eDi65000s....features the satnet xover featured in the better CDT sets.

Yeah, good call on the Hertz. I got a RF P450.4 aswell and I got it powering the Hi Energy HSK 130's in the front and the Hi Energy HSK 690's in the rear. They sound real good and for the money I paid, they were totally worth it. You wouldn't be disapointed with Hertz. But if you really like Alpine I hear that the Type X comp's are real nice.

as far as a budget, I'd be very hesitant to pay over 275 for 2 sets of components(front and back)

see I don't really think I need that great of comps because I am currently running alpine type S coaxials and they sound good, and im sure theres a lot better stuff out there than that.

Have you considered ditching the rear set? I just ordered a set of Premier TS-C720PRS, they should be here tomorrow, I got them for 250 shipped and retail is 550.

I would run just one front set of comps, but run them active rather than running 2 sets.

what does active mean? I would be running speaker wire to each reference from a seperate channel then from to reference to both the midbass and tweeter
