please recommend amp for crystal sscs 6

The Diamond would be about the same, really. The Xenon OTOH, might have a bit of an advantage for specs alone.

Keep in mind that Alpine rates that amp at 14.4V, so if you're car isn't supplying that voltage, the RMS is going to be lower than stated (figure about 10-20% lower at 13.5V)

thanks for the info and fast reply. i will get the diamond D3 400.4 amp since its about 50 dollars cheaper and everyone seem to give positive reviews about it. now my system is complete

Crystal SSCS6 - 150 dollars

Pioneer Premier deh-p680mp - 200 dollars

diamond D3 400.4 -150 dollars

a nice system for 500 dollars

I got a set of those Crystal SSCS 6.5's on the way now. What do you guys who already run them suggest for a minimum wattage to power them? I know these speakers definately like their juice. The spec sheet at CrystalMobileSound.com only lists the max wattage, not a recommended RMS wattage.

Thanks for any advice.

hey i got a quick question. my friend say running the diamond d3 400.4 for my component system when bridges at 200x2 will blow the speaker. is this true?
