why are u worried about this stuff when you are about to go to iraq?........why buy a amp when u are leaving?
i say send it out to someone who knows about repairing amps and see what they think.....

i wanted to buy an amp before i left bc ive been running my idmaxs underpowered. actually only one was hooked up and the other was just sitting in teh box with it. i had the money and thought i had a good deal. one less thing to deal with when i got back.

i didnt expect to be buying something an dhaving to worry about it almost up to the last minute. i bought this thing almost three weeks ago. i shouldnt even be hanving to have a thread about it at all. its been several years since i got burned on a online transaction. i guess i was due for one.

probably going to end up sending to db-r. free estimates so all im out is shippig if its fine.

and what am i supposed to worry about? dying? making sure all my shit is in order, which it is? no, its more fun and less stressful, usually, to be involved in car audio.

dude who sold the amp didnt put it in a fuxing box with some nuts? so u just sent out the original box? som f4g at fedex prolly saw it n dropped it for kicks. My buddy worked for fedex and he said if a box is clearly labeled "fragile" or is obviously brakable, some of the ppl who work muff with it.

I would definately try hooking it up in someone else's car before sending it off anywhere.
