Hello, I will buy a Formula X 12" at 2 ohm with 1000rms/2000watt and triple magnet and some other stuff that makes the sub with more power, anyway my problem is that I don't know what amp I should use on this sub. I'm about to buy a amp Memphis 16 MCD-1000 or Hifonics Brutus - BRX1400.1D both amp are 1 channel. Any help?

Is it a single or dual vc?

Get the d2, wire it in parallel to 1 ohm and get the Memphis imo.

Yes dual 2, I think the 4 it's about ohms. And I dont know what amp to use on this sub. Because tomorrow I will have a hand made box for this 12"

The brx is a decent amp, but the Memphis will give you cleaner power.

Great then, I will buy the Memphis with 1,100 watt. Before I was confused because I saw on YouTube and I read on forum that everybody was happy Hifonics and that it gives much power. And I didn't want to make any mistake and to buy the wrong amp.

You will be good with the Memphis. I run a brx2000.1 and it works well, but it's not giving me 2k.
