Please Help!!!!

yeah i know the grounds are fine and everything, the remote wire i will have to check that next...what frequency should i set my amplifier and also input sensitivity?

Try this, remove the turn on wire and place a jumper between the 12 volt connection on the amp to the turn on connection on the amp. By removing the remote turn on from the HU you prevent any back flow. If the amp turns on then its a remote issue. keep me posted

well i figured out i need a new/better battery, got everything working but my car battery keeps dying after a couple minutes cuz they battery isnt powerful enough to run everything...i guess its gonna cost around 200 dollars lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif thanks for all your guys help though!!

unless your batt is old/dead i don't think that is your issue..

Well not too much info has been given but a DMM would be a great tool to check things (like your battery) etc

My friend has a bad alternator, it plays fine for a while and then the MUSIC stops playing, so i go and volt meter his battery and it reads 19v for a second and then L no data, the alternator is freaking out and not working properly at all and it takes about 15 min for it to sort its self out.

Then it returns to 15v.

If you brought the DMM, you would of saved you a sh*t load of time. Just my two cents. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

ya soooooooo....went and bought a brand new optium battery and!!!!!!!!!system does not work when i start my car.......still.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

i would have if i had one believe me lol...but yeah still shitty none the less that my shit still doesnt work when i start my car...just bought brand new rca cables and new speaker wire running to the subs...so its either the power line or the remote line...or is there any possible way that the amp would be causing this? my friend mentioned it to me that the amp might be the problem but i dont understand why the system would work while the car is not running and doesnt work when i start the car due to the amp???//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif also, when the car is not running and the subs are hitting, they are very inconsistent in sound one minute they will be banging and the next minute they will not be hitting at all, they just fade in and out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

the system works when i just turn the key, not the car on and then starts cutting out after volume 25, the head unit still stays on after i start the car and my radio works just not the subs. its a 1997 ford escort with a jvc cd deck and planet audio front and back speakers with a 350 kenwood amp and 2 10 inch planet audio subs and a 4/0 power line..
I highly doubt you are running 4/0 wire. Just so you know, that would be about 4 inches thick wire. You are probably running 4 gauge wire. Not the same as 4/0.

I don't think it is your battery since it plays off the battery without any issues until you get to a high volume. That is to be expected out of a flooded battery.

unless your batt is old/dead i don't think that is your issue..
Yep.

Did you buy the DMM (Digital Multi Meter aka volt meter)? If so, what are the following reading:

1) Voltage of battery with key off

2) Voltage of battery with key to ACC and audio on half volume

3) Voltage of battery with engine running, audio off

4) Voltage of battery with engine running, audio on half volume

5) Voltage at amp with engine running, audio on half volume

Sounds like to me your alt might be going bad. Either that or you have some really messed up wiring that I cannot even contemplate.

Reply back with those voltages and I will keep trying to help.
