Please help with new equipment choices.

First post, but have done a ton of reading here. Thanks to all who contribute.

I'm purchasing equipment for a new install in my Tundra access cab and just wanted opnions on my chioces as far as amps and speakers. As in does anyone see anything wrong with the following setup.

I have an Alpine ixa-w04 head with imprint and hd tuner.

For mains:

Polk MM6501 front and back with a Rockford Fosgate Power T600-4

For Sub:

Not positive on the model but probably a JL 12" with a JL Audio Slash v2 500/1v2 single ported box.

I'm not looking for DB's, just good clean powerfull sound.

Any thoughts about the above? and suggestions for the model of sub? I'm thinking I might need another single 8" sub and box, but I'm not sure the amp could power both or if a single 8" would add enough.

Why an 8'' along with the 12''? Assuming you want midbass which in that case dedicated mid-bass drivers would be needed such as those that come with a component set.

I was just thinking the 6 1/2 comp in the doors just never seem to put out that ~130 - ~160 ish range and I was thinking an 8" might help fill it in. But I would probably need more that 1 to make any difference.
