-PLEASE HELP-Whats the best way to wire amp to subwoofer

That sort of thinking is why an audio shop blew one of my subs years ago.

I was having them install a new battery, but they decided to start fiddling with my amp gain. I had it turned down to avoid over driving the sub, but they turned it up just below clipping, then blew the sub while testing. Thankfully they gave me a replacement and owned up to their mistake, but it's stuff like that that has me play it safe when giving advice.
you must got really incompetent shops.  Clipping at 8 ohms is still clipping at 8 ohms, With noobs nowadays they'll be soo dissatisfied with the output that  they'll blow the sub even at 8 ohms, they'll likely put on some bass boost or bass EQ rather than doing proper level adjustments.  With impedance rise you are actually seeing around 16 ohms reactive wired to 8 ohm nominal.  Dont assume that everyone will be as stupid as the shop doing your setup lmaoooo.

Now the truth comes out. Just because it happened to one person doesn't mean it'll happen to the next. He's afraid of 2 ohms lol

Guess I don't dare tell him I'm running 800 rms watts to my sub @ 1 ohm and will be powering my 15's with a 3k amp @ 1 ohm also. OMG....heaven forbid don't let him know about it.
