I've installed a 500/1 using stock deck and a navonne converter in my g35.. pushing a ten inch rockford p3 .... how should i connect the rca's on the amp and should i have the amp input selector in high or low position.. also if i put both the rca's on the amp at the same time.... the sound is barely there as soon as i disconnect one, it thumps... anybody know why this is and do you think i need a y adapter... anyways any help would be great... thanks

you installed a loc in the system right.. The reason why it hits when you remove one rca is because you have the (+) and the (-) on one of the channels backwards . So what's happening is it's canceling out. Look at it like this If you have +2 and you put it with -2 you still get 0.. as for the high and low settings, thats for the input voltage. If you have rca outputs out of your radio , that would be considered a low voltage signal. If you ran the speaker level into the rca input of you're amp, that is a high voltage signal. Which reduces the input voltage to a usable level. basicly it works like your loc you have installed.
